Private viewing - L'Isle Adam 2001

In the foreground, a new concept by
Alain Pailler that comprises one or several paintings within a single
volume. The painting protrudes from the wall just like a sculpture
and can be admired from all sides. The subject of this thematic sculpture
is two gouaches of L'Isle-Adam under a white blanket of snow.

I believe
private viewings provide the best opportunities to answer questions
from visitors (on subjects as diverse as the technique used, the landscape,
or the conditions under which a painting was created, developments
in style, current projects, etc.)

My wife Valérie at the reception
taking care of visitors with her usual discreet efficiency.
