March 2001:

A web site

&

a new exhibition

L'Isle Adam, March 1st, 2001

Hello! The latest news is of course, this new web site. We have been putting off this web site project for a long time and if it is finally online, it is thanks to my friend Arnaud.

I have never been able to create my portfolio; I could never imagine what form it would take. When I started thinking about creating my own web site, I realized that I had finally found the ideal medium to present my works.

I realized in a way, that I had all the necessary material which had been accumulating for years and that this was an excellent way to communicate with those who were interested in my work. Of course, the site as you see it now, is far from complete. There remain many more pages to be published online. The section on “Reporting” will be considerably filled out. The aim of this site is to provide information and answers to questions that visitors frequently ask at private viewings and exhibitions. For once, I have tried to anticipate these questions. I would also like to share my views, describe the creative process of some paintings, and the conditions under which they have come into being.

Another new event is a personal exhibition:
- about 90 paintings, most of which have never been presented to the public before, will be on display!
- an exhibition from March 31st to April 16th, at the Pavillon Magallon - 5, rue Bergeret, L'Isle-Adam (95290).

I will be present at the exhibition during the weekends and public holidays, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Come and pay me a visit! !
